Recently, the researchers of the research team led by Chen Ling of the SKLRD conducted a systematic research on the pathogenicity of human’s infection of H5N6 isolated virus in Guangzhou, the characteristics of in vivo copying and inflammatory reaction in a mouse model. The research finding was published online by Emerging Microbes & Infections, an academic journal under NPG with the title of “Patient-derived avian influenza A (H5N6) virus is highly pathogenic in mice but can be effectively treated by anti-influenza polyclonal antibodies”.
