Recently, Professor Hu Wenhui's team and Professor Yang Zifeng's team have made significant progress in the field of anti-influenza drug research and development. The research results "Discovery of Highly Potent Pinanamine-Based Inhibitors against Amantadine- and Oseltamivir-Resistant Influenza A Viruses" was published online on May 25th in Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (IF = 6.259), the top journal of medicinal chemistry. This research provides a brand new active site for the design of new HA inhibitors and a basis for the development of new broad-spectrum anti-influenza drugs.
