On December 28, 2016, a quantitative standard of lymph node sampling/cleaning in early lung cancer surgery was published on the top journal of oncology “Journal of Clinical Oncology” (with an impact factor of 20.98). The research was finished by the team of chest surgery and chest oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University in nearly two years. The first author of the paper is Dr. Liang Wenhua and the corresponding author is Professor He Jianxing. As a pioneer and leader in the domestic and international minimally invasive therapy of lung cancer, the team led by Professor He Jianxing has always been engaged in the researches of the prognosis and regular therapy of early lung cancer in recent years, with an aim to achieve a bigger breakthrough in the trend of increasingly perfect surgical technology and further improve the therapeutic effect for lung cancer patients.
